Join Us in this Rescue Mission

The Dayspring Missions of Hope is helping to build a School in the Village of Kalambo in Machinga district of Malawi. This Community has never had a High School – only one crowded elementary School where a Teacher is responsible for teaching about 100 to 120 Children exists. The closest Secondary School to this Community is about 17 Kilometers (11 Miles) away. It takes the Children a whole of 3 hours to walk to School in the morning and another 3 hours to walk back home from School in the afternoon. A total of 6 hours daily.

The elementary School in this Community has about 2,500 pupils, out of this number, only about 40 Children (or 1.6 %) are able to get admission into the Secondary School. The reason for this low percentage of intakes is because there is not enough Secondary Schools around to absorb the elementary School graduating Children.


We believe God brought our Organization – the Dayspring Missions of Hope to this Community to bridge the gap and to rescue the suffering little Children from this agonizing 6 – hour daily walk to the far away school. This School we are building now brings School very close to the Children’s homes. They can now walk to and back from School in a few minutes.


Out of the 4 classroom Blocks we have laid out on the Building plan to construct, we have built 3 Blocks and are going ahead to finish the 3 blocks (the 4th block will be added at a later date when funds become available) At this moment, we need support to finish the roofing (one block already roofed) of the classroom blocks and to purchase doors, window frames and windows, plastering of the entire interior walls and floors.

When School is completed, the 6-hour daily walk becomes only 15 minutes. What a big relief this would be for the little Children!

Support in Prayers makes a lot of difference in our Mission Endeavors. it supplies us the much needed strength and Will to continue as we take God’s words to the uttermost part of the world. Please pray along with us that God empowers and renew us by His Holy Spirit.
  1. You can donate your New, gently used clothing, men’s, ladies and Children clothing, shoes, household items and Children toys and much more. Please call us for a pick up or dropoff information.
  2. We sure need your financial support. Building a School requires huge sums of money. At this very time, we have completed 3 Classroom Blocks of the 4 we intended to build. We will be moving on to roofing the three Classroom blocks requiring the – Roofing, plastering, installation of Windows, doors etc. At every stage of the Building, we need at least $2,500 for buying materials and paying the building Site workers. 80 please consider sowing into this God’s Project and the Seed you plant today will doubtless be harvested in unimaginable ways in years ahead.
